Hayley Orrantia, the American performer, songwriter and actress. Her most well-known roles includes Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, an American comedy show. Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. According to her, is the first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. Her first training began in the field of professional music when she was 12. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. From then on, she has never looked back. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. She's proud of her fact that she has Hispanic origins, even though she was raised using English only, and did not live in Mexico. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs and learning the Spanish language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded the four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were put in an ensemble to go through the auditions. The live performances were held in the fifth week.
