Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American cook book author for a number of years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. Though she found the career intellectually stimulating initially eventually she dropped interest and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make her shop extremely successful before she closed it. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut which was an enormous hit. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking items and even containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor worked at a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is ascribed to her simple method of cooking, and her effortless entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
