Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). She grew up in an artistic family from New York and wanted to pursue a career in art. In the beginning she began as an assistant in photography. In the future, her career shifted to modeling and directing. She was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actress. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international hit, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films MacGraw was named as the top female performer in box office history. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
